As many healthcare industries have experienced, the need for both virtual and in-person appointments has increased since the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Recent Zoom research found that in the U.S., 72% of survey respondents want to attend healthcare appointments both virtually and in-person post-pandemic, demonstrating the clear need for telehealth as an option for this hybrid approach to healthcare."
HealthIT News sat down with Zoom's head of healthcare, Heidi West, and discussed the future of telemedicine. She mentions that physicians and providers should start leaning on a more proficient online presence to continue to support the safety and convenience of the patients.
Although the world is slowly opening back up again, the need and opportunities for telehealth are increasing. During the pandemic, telehealth increased tremendously due to patients wanting to feel comfortable and safe so there needed to be an online presence implemented.
Clevare Healthcare was founded primarily to increase providers' online presence by creating a virtual application that is easy to work with and creates a lasting patient relationship. We created a in-app flow that allows for patients to feel secure knowing that their information is secure and that the "patient-provider" relationship hasn't disappeared.
